ioS 5.0 questions
Hoping someone can help me out with this--
I had to DL i tunes on my netbook. My old computer that I usually use to update my iPhone has NO space left and couldn't handle the update.
I DL'ed it on my netbook, synched all my purchased media, but I can't figure out how to synch my "other" music onto itunes. The warning is telling me that it will delete all my music and apps to run the update.
I'm scared to run the update without making sure all my music is in my library. Thoughts? HELP please!

Yes, you first need to sync your iPhone with the new iTunes on your netbook. The update will first backup whatever is on your phones and restore your phone to factory settings before installing the update.
ETA: Maybe someone on here can clarify how the sync works (iTunes to iPhone, or vice versa) since I'm not sure

Re: ioS 5.0 questions
Try turning on Homeshare from Itunes on both your computer and the netbook. Also on itunes on the netbook, under advanced, select Authorize computer. After I did all that, I plugged in my old ipod that had all my music on there and I synced it with the new itunes. I got most of the stuff that was on the old ipod onto my new iphone except for stuff that was recently uploaded in the past few weeks because i didn't back it up.
Another thing you can try to do is if you have an Amazon.com account, get the free Amazon cloud and upload the stuff you want from your old computer onto the cloud and then access it from the netbook. I'm doing that now. I'd use iCloud but that doesn't seem to be working
Hope this helps and if it effs it up, I apologize. These things are quite temperamental!!
