iPad 2 screen cracked
My son dropped my iPad 2 and the screen has a tiny hairline crack in it. It still works fine, but it's annoying.... I'm trying not to freak out.... I got it through work.
I did some research online and have read many forums where people are posting about this happening to them, scheduling an appointment at the apple store with the genius bar and getting a free replacement iPad one time for something like this happening! Anyone know if there is any validity to this? Can this happen? I would love to hear if anyone on here had any luck with is....

This is exactly what happened to my BIL, my neice dropped it, had this crack on the screen but worked fine. He made an appt at apple store in roosevelt fieldn and they just gave him a brand new one.
The Ipad was actually bought from microcenter too, he didnt get it at that store.
