Work recently got me an IPhone and I love it.
DH has the galaxy I believe and he's satisfied with that too.

I don't know
I was ALL for Droid. Very anti- Iphone.
But lately my Droid is just acting wonky.
Very glitchy.
It reminds me of a PC- it's great for about a year then it starts getting glitchy as heck
And the battery life- I have to carry a spare emergency charger with me if I am not going to be near an outlet or laptop charger.. it is that bad.
My DH switched the Iphone and he can't say enough good about it compared to his old Droid.
So I don't know...

I don't know much about the galaxy in particular...but I have owned every iphone except the 4S. I have also owned a few droids. I honestly hate my iphone. I ean...it does the job...I can't hate on that, but sometimes it does go a little kooky. Everyone I know walks around with cracked screens because the screens are so fragile and SO EXPENSIVE to fix. Crack that screen and unless you go to some 3rd party shop to have it fixed it'll cost you almost the exact worth of the phone itself. AND if you DO get it fixed cheaper by some 3rd party...you void the warranty.
I like the photos I take on my iphone...but I also took great photos with y droid. I think Iphone is just overpriced and overrated to be honest. Droid had talk to text capability WAY before Iphone. Iphone keeps coming out with new versions that everybody feels like they MUST have...but the upgrades in each version aren't all that impressive.

As people mentioned above Iphones are great but they are very fragile. You will see a lot of people with cracked screens...they are very expensive to replace. Personally I would get the Samsung Galaxy 3. I heard great things about it.
