Ipod shuffle
anyone have one? i'm looking into getting one but i dont know much about them.

I have one, and other than the cost (I think it's 99 dollars) I don't like it.
I also have the Ipod Mini and the largest Ipod (80gb)....
I am kind of a computer dorko - so I like the bigger ipods....\
The shuffle has many limitations.

the reason I didn't get the shuffle is because it has no screen. so you have no idea what the sequence of songs are.

for me its perfect. I dont use it enough to pay alot of $$ for a bigger one. It plays the songs randomly but they are all songs I picked so I like them all, and if I am not in the mood for one I can just skip to the next one.

I have one and I feel the same way.
I actually loaded a lot of workout songs on it and bring it to the gym.
It's perfect for that, and because it was so relatively inexpensive, I don't care if it gets messed up at the gym.

You can also set it to play the songs in order if you want. So you have the option of random play or playing them in the same order.
For me it's perfect too- I barely use things like that but it's nice to have when I want it.

I love, love, love my shuffle but I wanted it for the gym and working out.
It only holds 240 songs so it really doesn't compare to an Ipod for storage purposes but it's great for working out.
It also has no screen so it doesn't tell you what's playing or anything like it.
If you dont' want it for the gym or running I would look into a real Ipod or MP3 player. I have a Zen Nomad for my MP3 player.

Dh got them for his ushers, who were 16 and 13..they loved them...they hold like 250 songs and are small...just no screen.
