Good to hear since that's one of the places on the list... I went a few yrs back and wasn't all that crazy for the food... Maybe it changed! Thanks.

Donvans and Monahans are both very nice, they are off of Bell Blvd in Bayside though not Nassau

Also in Floral Park:
Swing the Teapot - legit Irish. The same owner as the Tulip Bake Shop, so all their breads are to die for. Really cute spot.
Jack Duggan's - they have an upstairs room which is really quaint. There's a brick fireplace up there, separate bar and bathrooms. We had our rehearsal dinner there and were really happy with everything.

Agreed. I have been to Donavans and its really nice and my shower is going to be at Monahans.
