definitely not.
We did one for DS at two and the kids had a blast.
DS is 3 now and is a HUGE bowler -we go a few times a week, he loves it!

DD is 3 and loves bowling. Dh actually just took my kids bowling a few minutes ago. They chose it over the beach today
