We just went this past weekend and stayed 2 nights and I said that if we go back I would only stay 1. You can totally stay only 1 night!!! I say go for it if you feel up to it!

what places did you visit?i thought it would be too short of a stay for the amount of things to do in the area..
for starters i def want to do dutch wonderland.. what about the kitchen kettle village? the amish village? thanks!!

We did only DW. My suggestion to you would be to do DW the first day and then pick a 2nd activity to do the morning you are coming home.
ETA: DW looks bigger on the map, it's is doable in less than 1 day

Re: is a 1 night stay in lancaster too little?
We just went and stayed at Fulton Steamboat Inn....which was really nice! We got there Friday around 12:00 and stayed in the park until 5:30 (which was plenty of time!), back to the hotel to freshen up and to Miller's for dinner, back to the hotel for some pool time and bedtime around 9:30, up around 8am back to Millers for Breakfast and then did some outlet shopping and left for home around 1:00. We had a great time and I think that one night was enough for us at this age (15 months), maybe when they are a little older another night would be nicer!
