is anyone good at spotting fake bags?
i was handed down a tory burch, but im pretty sure it's a fake and will give it away if it is. i dont have a pic right now but can share it later. ill show you how it comes up when i search it, but mine has a different leather..it's more "quilted" almost.. here it is on the website.
im wondering if it comes in other fabrics/styles as well. TIA  Image Attachment(s):

Check the zipper pulls -- zippers on real bags, from Coach to MK to Marc Jacobs are made by "YKK" and they have a little "YKK" discreetly imprinted on the zipper...
look carefully, they are so discreet they are very difficult to find sometimes! 
ETA - it took me a few minutes to find it on my Marc Jacobs just now! LOL!

The manager at Coach and Marc Jacobs told me this so that's why I suggested it.
She told me that is how they identify it, along with some other things.

I'm sorry, but if you like the bag, why do you care if it's a fake or not? I don't make a habit out of buying designer bags, real or fake. But if I like something, I like it. I don't care who makes it.

But that's just me, I don't know about the OP.
If I want an inexpensive bag or a bag that's not a designer/brand name, I'll just go to a store and buy a no-name brand bag like Target, Kohl's, Gap, etc. rather than buying something that's illegal and perpetuating the counterfeiting industry.

Beacuse it's fake. If it's a fake, it's NOT a designer bag.
I love designer shoes, bags, clothing ......
but I'll NEVER EVER wear a fake.
If I can't afford it, I'll find something in a similar shape, style, fabric that I CAN afford, but I'm not spending a dime on a knock off with the designer label stitched on to it.
I'll happily wear a $14.99 dress from Target if I like the dress, and I'll pair it with a $900 pair of shoes and feel awesome about it - it's not about the designer ........but if I'm going to walk around wearing DVF, it's going to be the real deal ........
