I definitely would not and will not buy maternity clothes until I get my BFP and need new clothes!

I wouldn't recommend it. You have no idea what size you'll need in which season.

Even when you do get preggo, don't go overboard in the beginning. You're better off buying as you grow...

I would wait until I was PG to fully enjoy the entire experience. I have a few PG clothes from my first pg that I long to be wearing as it is - I don't need to make it worse

No maternity clothes will be bought for myself until I am pregnant and need them. Nothing for the baby will come into my home until the chilc is born. I come from a long line of superstitious Jewish women and this is just what was/is done. Anything purchased for the child stays in someone else's home til after I deliver. At most, we might paint the room that will be long to our child - nothing else - not even furniture.

Same here - I'm Italian and Italian's have the same way of thinking on this topic and no Baby Shower.

My DH doesn't even want to paint before.

Really? Both DH and myself are 100% Italian, and I've never heard of this before and trust me I go to a BILLION BABY SHOWERS! LOLOL

me too- I am going to one this weekend! every Italian I know LOVES showers and parties for every occasion-

I bought two maternity shirts at World of Dinsey either on the HM or our trip before that! Funny thing is, that was the last time I saw any maternity stuff down there!
