Is Dutch Wonderland a lot worse than Sesame Place?

I was all ready to book our trip to DW for Memorial Day Weekend. DS will be 14m old. I've heard great things about DW on LIF. However, people we know in real life have been telling us how "dinky" DW is and we are better off going to Sesame Place.

Could you share your thoughts? Which is better for a 14m old?

Well I have never been to Sesame but can DEFINITELY tell you there is nothing "dinky" about DW....we had an AWESOME time, our son was about 20 months and we didn't even get to some of the park before he conked out....it is separated great so all the rides are in one area, they have shows, pony rides and then the water park is kind of set aside and os big as well....the rides are great ,there is so much to do, it is so clean and well maintained, when we went it was NOT crowded....and DS could go on a LOT at his age then. I don't know what others might say but we LOVED it and plan to go back again this year.....

I am Chat Icon Chat Icon about how someone could think it was dinky....

I havent been to SP since I was little, but we took DS to Dutch Wonderland last year and there wasnt anything dinky about it. It takes an entire day to do it, lots of rides, shows, healthy food choices in the park.

It was clean and wasnt TOO crowded. We had a great time.

I've been to both and other than the characters, DW is much nicer (cleaner, less crowded, approx same amount of attractions)

Ok, I'm just going to stick with my original plan and book Willow Valley Resort and go to Dutch Wonderland.

I should stop listening to people. My co-workers were telling me how Coney Island was a dump and we had an amazing time at the NY Aquarium. DS had the time of his life.

I always say you have to go and experience it for yourself! Enjoy! We are going to DW this summer and SP as well!
