Gold is at a high price right now but a few small pieces might not be worth much. we had what I thought to be a decent amount, 2 rings a large necklace and 2 bracelets and it was only worth $250. (all were 14K gold or better)
its worth pricing it out though.
I can't wear gold I'm very allergic to it, so for me the gold was useless.
