Is guacamole bad to eat if it has dark spots in it?
I just ordered from Chipotle and got the guacamole with chips and I brought it back and it had dark spots in it.
I went back out and they switched it for me, but they said its fresh and this one will do the same.
Is this true? I'm scared to eat it--I'm PG.

It's oxidation like when you leave a bananna out. I don't think it's harmful but it does mean it was probably stored uncovered

When I got it was in its own covered container.

I think it's fine and this can happen to guacamole even if it's covered. It's the same as when an apple starts to turn brown after you cut it open. It usually means that they didn't add lemon juice to the guac - that helps to keep it from browning.
