Yes, I think it's weird. I am not sure why but I just don't think photos belong in a bathroom. It is just odd to me. I don't think I've actually ever been in a bathroom with photos in it

A general portrait yes odd, a bathroom themed photo perfectly fine. I know several instances a child playing with bubbles or bathroom toys spread out in the tub with just a hint of a child OR a child on the potting training toilet photos on the wall. Think it's kinda funny.

I agree. I think bathroom themed pics actually sounds adorable. I probably wouldn't blow up DS school pic and put it in the bathroom though.

We have a window with a ledge above our toilet in our half bath. Its a beach themed bathroom so before kids I had put cute beachy frames on the ledge with photos of DH and I at the beach, me and my mom at the beach, etc. and thought nothing of it. Until one night DH and friends were drinking (and hence peeing a lot) and someone commented how it is awkward to pee while staring at my bare chested husband at the beach.  I never thought of it that way before!!! And felt so dumb.
As an aside- someone told me it is bad feng shui to have photos in the bathroom.

I agree. I actually always wanted to get a cute bathroom picture of my kids (cute bubble bath pic or something - no nudes or anything lol) and have it printed it black and white and hang it up in my bathroom. Clearly it's been way down on my to do list since I haven't done it yet. I would hang it up on the wall next to the tub, not over the toilet. I have a shelf over my toilet anyway
I would not have a portrait or let's say my wedding picture in there though . Or any random picture of my kids for that matter.

So the masses seem to think it's weird, guess that means my husband wins this one.
And fyi, it's a fun, bathroom-appropriate photo (in my opinion, anyway)—definitely not a formal portrait or school picture! I think it looks fantastic in our beautiful bathroom. The big wall above the toilet needs something and I always prefer to hang photos rather than generic artwork. I thought nothing of it until my laid back husband looked at me like I was insane and said no way!
I thought he was way over thinking it, but I don't stand when I pee, so I guess from a man's perspective, it's different.

Yes, I think a photo of people is weird in any bathroom. Not in a 'you're a deranged freak' sorta way, but I would say it's kinda odd.
Now art hanging in a bathroom is not weird at all and I have vintage prints hanging in one of my bathrooms.
