Is it possible to start showing at 5 weeks?
Hi all! I'm brand new to the blog at 5 weeks with my first pregnancy. I've been really bad with what I'm eating lately, so it could be that, but has anyone noticed a 'pooch' (FAR from any type of bump), at 5-6 weeks? It's the kind of thing even my DH wouldn't notice, but I think I see a difference. Is that even possible?

i agree. ur usually bloated around that time. its not likely to be baby considering the baby's like the size of sunflower seed at that point. but welcome!!!

That's so true. How silly. I'm sure it's the bloat from all the water I've been drinking!! I rarely used to drink water before I got pregnant.

ughh..its bloat. i was bloated pretty bad off and on around this time.
watch your salt intake.

The other girls are right, it's most likely bloat. You'll find that it gets worse at night.

with DS (my first pregnancy) from about 6-8 wks i started to look pregnant - than it went away and it wasn't until about 16 wks that I really started to look pregnant - it was bloat i guess but,, i really wasn't eating bad!
Now i'm 6 wks with my second pg and my belly is def. rounded out already - even my mother noticed and, again, haven't gained weight elsewhere and eating good. I guess its just bloat again!

The baby is the size of a grain of rice, its definitely bloating, but we all went through it! It will go down in a few weeks! Congrats!

BLOAT! I was bloated from 6 weeks-11 weeks. Then one day it disappeared and my belly was flat again...not for long though!
