Is it terrible...

that I want to hurry up and get this baby out so I can resume running? I seriously miss it. I'm one of those nut jobs that would run outside in freezing cold weather.

Okay...self-indulgent pity party over. Chat Icon

Re: Is it terrible...

Did your dr. tell you that yuou had to stop running once you found out you were pregnant? I have been reading alot about women who continue to run while pregnant but I guess its a lot slower pace and you have to monitor your HR.

I think it's going to depend on how I deliver. Most likely I'll have another c-section so it will be at least 8 wks until I can get back out there. As soon as I can walk, I plan on doing that. I miss my running routine! Chat Icon

I actually did a few races in the beginning of my pregnancy (Cow Harbor at 8wks and Running of the Bull at 9 or 10 wks). I kept running, at a slower pace, until November when I got hit with back to back boughts of bronchitis. My stamina wasn't able to get back to where I needed it after that so I changed to walking on the treadmill but it's just not the same, kwim?

Thanks. I plan to contiue running as long as I can if I get pregnant. I know its going to be hard, but I will try to do it as long as I can and just have been a little worried about my dr telling me I have to stop. Hope you get back into your routine soon
