Is it true that girls with endo most likely have immune issues?

Just wondering.
Both RE's I consulted with do not believe in immune issues at all. I have read a few articles that girls with endo have a higher IF rate because of immune factors. Anyone gear similar or have RE's that agree? I can't afford Braverman so I'm at a loss here.

Yes, I see Braverman and I also did some research and endo is an immune issue and can be a contributing immune factor to IF.

Have you talked to him about payment plans?

I have not even consulted with him yet bc it's so expensive. I have great IVF coverage but unfortunately he does not accept it.
He is not a RE, right? I was told he just does the immunology and you still see your RE.
Would it be worth it to just do the immune testing and see?
I had stage 4 endo with surgery to remove. I still have it on bowels and cul de sac area bc it's too dangerous to remove but was told there is none in the uterus anymore. This surgery was 10 years ago, though! Worried that my immune system is causing the chemical pregnancies.

I am thinking the same thing as you with the immune testing. I have been looking into it and want to get it done before my FET. A lot of REs don't believe in it. I doubt my RE does but I will ask him on Saturday for our follow up. After 2 failed IVFs and still being unexplained we need some answers. So far what I came up with as far as who does it is: Braverman, Kofinas (perinatalologist), Pilleterri (obgyn), and SIRM in the city. Not sure who else. Braverman doesn't take my insurance either but I have OON benefits but I'm not sure how much that would run me. We have already spent a lot even with insurance and its running out. If you go to Kofinas' website there is a lot of info and slide shows about immuniology things. I learned a lot. IDK if he does the testing for people before they are preg or if he takes my insurance. Let me know what you decide, I'm gonna make an appointment somewhere soon.

Do you have Out of Network coverage? I am going to him out of network and I have not paid anything except for the immune testing for myself and DH which total cost was $700.

I thought he was an RE and Immunologist but I could be wrong. I know he does IVf and IUIs. I would call and talk to Stacey who is the Insurance Person or Linda or Sandra who are his nurses.

It can't hurt to check to see if he takes your insurance out of network or is willing to work with you.

he is a reproductive immunologist but he does everything an RE does. i think you might be able to do just immune treatment with him and cycle elsewhere but im not sure if that makes any sense because of what it would cost to do just the immune part. IMO just go to him and do it all with him so he has the cycle control - you really dont want conflicting stuff from your RE if they dont believe in immune related IF/RPL anyway. he does all the cycle stuff and IVF he just doesnt do the ER/ET, he has a lab in the city that does that for his patients (you should find if that lab accepts your insurance and maybe you can work something out). if i remember correctly you have had several chemicals, if it were me i wouldnt think twice about seeing someone whose true specialty is repeat pregnancy loss, if it were me, it would be the ONLY option.
good luck

Thank you!
Both RE's believe my losses are due to egg quality, which I guess may be true.
I'm hoping the immune testing can at least put my mind at ease.
