Girls with immune issues
Upon bfp, did your dr retest you before proceeding with a protocol?
I know most doctors do intralipids every 6 weeks until 12 weeks. My dr does every 4 weeks until 20 weeks. But for me they are doing it every 3 weeks for 20 weeks! They never re tested. I'm sure they are just taking precautions but my bloodwork is a year old now. These things change. I also know intralipids is safe and natural but it's just annoying to have to schedule this for so often.

I would ask to retest soon. Dr. B re-tested me at 7 weeks and again at 9 weeks.

It's odd, right!! I'm a little shocked since they are so thorough with everything so why not check again. They said I'll go off the prednisone on April 19 though. Who knows.
And I hate intralipids because the nurses are always annoying that come to the house. Like loud and tell you their life story and dirty laundry. Lol

i was retested right after BFP. at that point i only needed two more infusions since they are supposedly good for 4w and i had the first one right before my ER, the second one around 5w and the next one around 10w.

Really? I would love that I'd find it entertaining..
No this one lady was loud and telling me about how she first started in labor and delivery as a nurse but didn't like it because it was like the woman were being gutted like fish while giving birth. Then her neighbors hate her. And her dog has infected anal glands. NOT what I want to hear about for 3 hours. Wacko lady.

Hi,
My Dr was the very same....every 4 weeks until the 20th week and no re-testing. Some believe that to be safe...regardless of what the test results show...you need intralipids through the 20th week. Retesting is not needed if this is your Dr.'S philosophy.
