I have a diaper genie and LOVE it
I live in an apt and even in NY it was upstairs so we couldnt take out our diapers daily. I've never had stink or problems with mine. Super easy. I do lysol it monthly cause .. well I dont know why, but I do.
I've heard complaints etc. But I guess I'm just a lucky one who's been nothing but happy with mine.
PS: Poo and Pee all go away.

We have 3 diaper genies (we did have 2 in diapers ). In my house, they were absolutely necessary! There was no way I was going out to the the garage after every diaper change and I didn't want to just put those stinky diapers in a garbage can.
They all get changed at least twice a week.

Wet diapers go in a garbage pail (emptied at the end of the day), dirty diapers go in a bag and right out to the garbage can outside-I don't want those in the house.

We had the diaper champ and i got rid of it around 3 months i found them to be gross. Even though we cleaned it every day i felt like it just was too much of a hassel!

i have the diaper champ and i hate it. although the room doesnt stink, the container itself stinks no matter how many pail deodorizers or sprays i use to clean it.
the handle and deposit thing constantly jam and it doesnt hold nearly as many as it says it does.

same here. We take the garbage out every night. Between the poop diapers & the cat litter box----i didn't want any potential odors around.

Had the Graco Diaper Pail when Ryan was an infant. Not worth the money. Our kitchen garbage goes out daily, might as well just put poopy and pee diapers in there. It goes out more frequently than we would empty that disgusting diaper pail .

ITA! We got one and then returned it for credit only to get something else we really needed.
We use the scented garbage bags and take out the trash everyday. Poopy diapers get taken out asap

We got the diaper champ for my shower over 2 years ago. It worked great! But at about 2 year mark, we just couldnt get it not to smell. So we replaced it. I dont like the new model as much!
So I am not sure I would recommend. But I do like that you dont need special bags for it. And I will say its only when I open and close it that I get a puff back of stinky air.

We use the diaper genie elite and LOVE IT! Keeps the smell contained and we change it very often.

DEF DIAPER CHAMP....you can use your own bags...and I felt it did pretty well for the pees and poops! now that my kids are over a year....and poops are less frequent ...we just throw them outside into a reg pail and transfer to garbage can at end of day...but def feel like I got my $$s worth in the first year!
