East Islip... it's in the parking lot of the municpal building I think... but it's right on Main Street/Montauk Hwy regardless, so just drive until you find it (North side of Montauk Hwy). It's gets better as it gets later into the spring/summer.
I agree - my DH is a chef and he really likes this farmers market (there is also a great pickle guy there too). There is also one at Bethpage Restoration. Its all things that they grow on the restoration itself. Its not actually in the restoration, its in the parking lot, so you dont have to pay a fee or anything. Prices are reasonable at both - not cheaper than the sales some supermarkets run, but quality is way worth it.
