Is there any glimmer of hope here?
So I went for my 2nd sono yesterday and things did not look good. As a recap I had my 1st sono at 6 weeks and my 2nd sono at about 7 weeks. Both times my sac was measuring 5.5 weeks and did not have any growth at this last visit and we did not see a baby or the fetal pole. I have had spotting on and off for 2 weeks, all different colors, a few specks or red but mostly dark brown. Also I have a hematoma which they thought was causing the spotting.
But anyway both my high risk dr. and my dr. believe this is not a viable pregnancy. They both truly believe we should have seen the baby by this point and say it is not good that my sac has not grown either. So yeah they both say it is over.
Last week I did have beta run 1x and it was 16,000 and was told that was good but now all of this. I am going again for more bloodwork this week and to have one more sono (at my request) to be sure but I am pretty sure it is over Some people are telling me to keep holding on and I have heard some crazy stories of people not seeing a baby or heartbeat until 8-10 weeks but I dunno I dont believe things are looking good for me right now

They didn't definitively say it's over, so although you may feel down - and I totally don't blame you - there is always hope. What is meant to be will be... Just keep praying. When I had worries early on, my dh said we will have a baby to love... Whether it's this one or the next. It's just a matter of God's plan. You are in my prayers!!

Re: Is there any glimmer of hope here?
YOU have to be your own advocate.
I just had a miscarriage last month.
Keep asking to have your beta taken - at least once a week to see what your numbers are doing. That will be a good indicator to see if the pregnancy is going to stick or not.
Also, keep going for sonos. If the pregnancy is not viable the sac should eventually go away. Are you bleeding? I was bleeding nonstop for about two weeks. It was alittle over a week and a half when my numbers were dropping.
I don't want to give you false hope - but anything can happen, and I have read about some real miracles on here.
So, have faith, but be realistic. It will help when you know your outcome. THe waiting is the absolute worst part and I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy.
PLEASE FM me at any time.

Re: Is there any glimmer of hope here?
Thank you everyone. I am pretty sure it is over and the doctors made it seem that way…but I am going for blood and 1 more sono to be sure.
Thanks for your prayers and thoughts, it means alot.
