Is there anything my mom can do (Jack Russell related)
When my grandmother passed away six years ago, my mom was left to take care of her Jack Russell. My mom already had a dog of her own, in addition to a cat. Well, she's now in the process of selling her home (well originally my grandma's home) and due to financial issues, will have to move into a basement apartment. She really can't take BOTH dogs. The landlord is not even really okay with the one dog (her dog), but two really is out of the question. The Jack Russell is a good dog, but definitely requires attention (he's 13). We can't take him (I have a 14 month old and a dog of my own) and she's been looking for a home for him, with no luck. Is there ANY place that would take a thirteen year old JR in? I know the chances are slim, but figured I'd ask here. She contacted one rescue organization and the NASTY woman responded telling my mom that my Nana would be VERY upset with her and that she should watch out for lightening bolts from my grandmother! My mom called me in tears Wish there was something I could do!
