Is there such a thing as baby stool softeners?
and if so have any of you given it to your LO?
FYI - we have tried giving her prunes, prune juice, prune concentrate. Pears, peaches, any fruit that we read helps move things along.

Is there such a thing as baby stool softeners?
i was gonna say prune juice. Ive never heard of anything else for kids... my niece was insanely constipated and i dont think they were able to give her anything but prune juice

DS has issues and we give him a spoonful of MiraLax in his drink every morning.
Keep doing the prune juice and pear juice. Try not to give too much bananas and carbs. I know it's tough, but it will help. Ask your Ped about giving Miralax though. Made a big difference. DS has sometimes crying fits when he has to go #2. If I forget a day or two it bothers him again to go.

Its so sad isnt it? I hate when she starts crying because of it. She runs up to us and wants to be held so I just squeeze her and she cries so much until its done then shes her happy self again. Poor baby girl.

Its so sad isnt it? I hate when she starts crying because of it. She runs up to us and wants to be held so I just squeeze her and she cries so much until its done then shes her happy self again. Poor baby girl.

YES. My dd (17m) does the same thing. Her legs are all clenched up and she's hugging around my neck for dear life. It's heartbreaking!!!!!!!!!
The prune juice does work for us though... I give it to her straight. Like 4 oz.
I also limit the binding foods too.
Poor baby girl!!
