No but I would worry about the white cushions since it would get more use than a dining room set.

I have it, except in an oval. We also have the china cabinet. We got it at Fortunoffs. I like it, but I like it better in white.

Is that a Canadel set? We have a similar set for our dining room. It holds up well, and since we don't have an eat in kitchen, we use it every day. We did not get upholstered chairs because of the kid factor.

maybe buy some little seat covers with the ties, then you can wash them.

I have one similar. i love it. i had table pads made so when we have kids we can just put them on if the kids are sitting at doing stuff.
