Is your nose more alert now that you are pregnant???
I've noticed that I can smell things alot better than before. Unfortunately it doesn't always work as a plus..especially when I'm on the train on my way to work.. but..for the most part I feel like I have a super nose..

Normally I have a very poor sense of smell but the last week has been torture. Commuting to and in the city has been AWFUL. I had no idea the city smelled this bad!!!!!!

Definitely. I woke up at 4am the other morning smelling burnt toast! It freaked me out! I walked around the house thinking something was on fire- but there wasnt anything. The second I got back up to my bedroom, I smelled fresh cut grass! It was bizzare!

My nose was super sensitive, which was a shame because I work in an office with about 80 women....and not all perfume smells good

Even before I was pregnant I noticed that my sense of smell more acute when I was about to get my period and now its more pronounced than ever!!!
DH says I can smell a wildfire in Argentina!!

YES!!!!
I had a very sharp sense of smell before, na dnow it's just off the charts. Like you said, sometimes it's not a good thing.

YES!!! I just posted something similar yesterday. I almost constantly smell this strange odor I've never smelled before, something like plastic and baby powder. I'm not sure if I'm smelling myself or if it's some ghost smell.
Also on the train. Someone's breakfast, coffee, halitosis, whatever, it all smells much more than it ever did before. Some guy was farting on the train the other day and it was making me gag.
DH thinks I'm having some sort of nasal hallucinations, he never smells the things I do.

Yes!!!!!! I smell everthing now!!! and most of the time its not a pleasant smell so I would rather not.

yes - my sense of smell is ridiculous we had our closing this week and we were sitting in the room for 2 hours and i was like i smell paint, i smell paint - everyone looked at me like i was nuts... lo and behold. we're leaving through the back lobby and it was being repainted...
my super nose smelt it three stories up lol

Yes I cant stand the smell of perfume or hairspray for the last few weeks.
Funny thing is I am a usually a perfume fanatic.

I had to do that this morning...actually i got off because a man sat next to me with some serious B.O. I was getting nauscious!!!! I mean seriously people WEAR DEODORANT!!!

YES. DH calls me a bloodhound. my sense of smell is so sensitive that i smell things that aren't even there  it drives me NUTS because usually the smells aren't pleasant.
luckily this has gotten a little better for me as the pregnancy has progressed, but it's definitely still there...
