Yes -- my super sense of smell was particularly strong (and usually problematic) during the first semester. Every time DH had a beer I could smell it a mile away.

Its a bog part of the hyperemesis I have ( excessive throwing up and nausea) and I have thrown up Countless times from the smells no one else smells.
I cant even smell normal people smells sometimes, they are too strong for me. I hate it.
