Is your online persona the same as your real everyday one?
Do you think how you come across online really identifies who you are in the real world?

No. I am very shy in person. That is why I always say I will go to a GTG and then never go. I am a chicken.

Re: Is your online persona the same as your real everyday one?
Good question!
I think i would have to take a consensus here to see what people thought about me and then compare it to who I am "live"
I think I am funny, sarcastic, tend to be a bizach, but try to see the good in all, however that may or may not come across well on here

i think so...
i'm an opinionated loud mouth, who is sarcastic and has a good sense of humor, (i can also be a little abrasive at times....) but when push comes to shove, i'd give my right arm and last dollar to help someone out

Re: Is your online persona the same as your real everyday one?
Not at all. In person I am very animated, loud and sarcastic. Alot of my expression is in my face. I have noticed that doesn't translate well on-line, so I tend to be alot more reserved then I would like to be so nobody takes me the wrong way and I get flooded with FM's regarding something I had said.

Re: Is your online persona the same as your real everyday one?
I'm a lot more talkative and outgoing in person than I am here. I'm more comfortable in person when I can see facial expressions.

Yes, except I am slightly shy in new situations. But once the newness rubs off, I'm not shy in the slightest!

Same here. I don't try to offend people and try to put myself in others shoes before I offer a comment, but I think on-line and even my emails, my personality does not translate the real me.
