My cat was spayed, and when I get another one, it of course will be. Its a no-brainer to me.
I even had a rabbit that I got neutered!

Yes. Oscar went to Dr. Wackanut. Dr. Cutchapeckeroff was too aggressive for us.

Absolutely. Unless a dog owner is a licensed breeder, IMO it's completely irresponsible not to.
Actually, you cannot adopt from a NYC pound until they're neutered / spayed. We adopted Larry David on a Friday and couldn't take him home until Saturday because they had to neuter him.

It was a 1st birthday present for Cooper. Funny thing though... I had never owned a dog and FH had never owned a male dog. So when we picked him up after the procedure we noticed the sack was still there... we were so confused!!! We thought they took the whole thing, sack and all... 
the sack will shrink. DH calls it the "empty sack"
Exactly why we think Barney is OBSESSED with balls....trying to fill the "emptiness"....hahahahaha

I have always had my dogs fixed. Unless you are a serious dog breeder I think all dogs should be fixed!

both of my doggies were fixed at the shelter before i adopted them. they were both young adults, so there was no problem with them being too young.
of course, when i brought each of them home, i wasn't allowed to give them a bath until their wounds healed. so twice i had filthy (not to mention sick) dogs from the streets in my house - that was fun... 
Annie was a stray shelter dog infested with fleas and had kennel cough when we brought her home. They fixed her just before too so we had her for I think 10 days before we could bath her. Yuk!

We got our cats fixed as soon as we got them. We adopted our dog and we has all ready fixed, I wouldnt have one that wasn't.
