We’ve been without power for 6 hours with no potential end time given...
We lost at 6:30 and it came back around 10:30. We have never lost power in a storm, not even sandy so i expect there are many outages

They are currently listing over 13,000 separate outages, and over 300k homes without power across all of LI.
We are in the Hudson Valley - our town has over 11k outages. They told some friends 3 days. Hope it’s sooner.
Mine went out yesterday around 5 pm. Go figure...we made it through the worst of the storm and then lost it. They told us we would get it back Friday. It came back on this morning around 6 so have hope.
Lucky u! We lost power yearterday at 2pm, they said we’d have it back today by 230pm. This morning it changed to Fri 330am and a few hrs ago it changed back to today at 230pm. Let’s hope we get it back soon. I don’t want all our food in our fridge and freezer to go bad, we have a lot of food

Well, we are in a state of emergency now so extra cleanup help will be available.
I know he's busy lecturing us but, this storm did exactly what he said it was going to do - why did he wait so long to declare the state of emergency?
