Island Kids Day Care in E. Npt?

Hi Everyone,

My ds is due to move up to the next room in his current day care, and I'm not thrilled about the teachers there. I've heard good things about Island Kids on Laurel, but does anyone know what ages can enroll and what their hours are? I forgot to call yesterday. TIA!

I have a friend that works there. I can see if I get some info, but, over the holiday weekend it may be hard.

My niece went there. My sister liked it. One advantage of Island Kids is that the Extended Kindergarten classes are right down the hallway. When it's time to go to Northport's 1/2 day kindergarten schools, if you need the 1/2 day extended care, she/he will be familiar with the place.

eta. one disadvantage is I believe they close down more often then the other daycares in the area.

Have you tried the daycare at the VA Hospital? It's very inexpensive, great grounds, and closed only on federal holidays.
