It has been a long year and a crazy journey...but I am so happy to post this!
Yesterday, I received confirmation on a stool sample that we should be
ALLERGY FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the past 3 weeks, we have both been back on dairy and soy. No reactions, no rashes, clean nose.
Dropped off diaper yesterday, no blood.
What a freaking year! Breastfeeding is so much different now.
Special thanks to Rachel for all the info and encouragement. You are a true support system for new moms.
Also, Disneygirl and emilian.
It seemed so impossible in the beginning, to make it through is going down as one of my great accomplishments.
And to my new fm mom in the same boat who I have passed my newmano's addiction to--YOU can totally do it!

Thanks! I get so emotional about! I cried in the car coming home from the doctor's yesterday.
Now nursing till age 2 will seem like nothing.

You were amazing Janice- I would read your posts and wonder how you managed to do it all. I couldn't get past month six and that was without allergies. You are definately an inspiration for all breastfeeding moms and make me want to try harder with #2.

i am so happy for you and your DS! good for you that you were so dedicated it is definitely an amazing accomplishment to BF for that long w/ the allergies too!
