It IS only the first month in Nov right???? (dress vent)

Went to the mall today. Wanted to check out holiday dresses at the mall for my daughters. Walk into Gymboree thrilled that they gave me a 30% coupon at the door. Looked around couldn't see the holiday dresses. Plenty of PJ's though. I asked the woman. She said they are a few here & there but the rest are sold. I asked if she was getting anymore in. She said no. That I should of come in 2 months ago. I said last I checked it's the first week of November. She said well I will be getting the spring collection in before Christmas. ***????? And she told me to come back in Jan for bathing suits. I think she thought she was funny. I told her it was ridiculous & walked out.

I know it's crazy. I bought DD's outfit last month just to be safe. It's from Childrens Place. I'm pretty sure they still have plenty.

wow-coupons.com usually has an in store 20% off for them on their site.

not all stores are like that. There are plenty of stores with Christmas & Winter stuff. I personally am not a Gymboree fan.

Girls dresses go sooo fast.

I bought DD's dress 2 weeks ago at Target, and now when I go back, they have only very few dresses left, and only in 12m or 5T.

It's crazy! I think part of the prob is the stores don't restock them, so they sell out, and thats it. So now, when I see them out, I buy them to be on the safe side.

Girls dresses do sell sooo fast. I have had great luck at Macy's this time of year. The last couple of years I got them beautiful dresses the first week of December for $20.

Have you looked in Sears? I saw some beautiful dresses there at Easter time, and I don't think it's a store a lot of people go to for that sort of thing.

I was shopping in beginning of October for her dress. Thankfully i got one from an LIF but its still Gymboree

The 30% is good online. If you go to the store and they don't have what you want they can order it online and will waive the shipping for you.

I feel the earlier they put stuff out the earlier people buy. So, since they have been putting out dresses in September people started buying them.

Can you check online? I usually have better luck in selection w/ gymboree online. Maybe you can use the coupon too.

I also feel w/ the economy being what it is stores are not stocking as much as in the past. They don't want to be left w/ it after the holidays.
