It looks like I am miscarrying......
Has anyone been through this? I started to bleed yesterday with 2 little little clots and right now it is just blood when I wipe. My doctor said he wants me to hold out for a week. He wants me to pass this on my own. How long does it take to fully come out??

How far along are you? You can't automatically assume it's a miscarriage without getting a sono!!!  I had times where the bleeding was INTENSE and the babies were still fine.
If I were you I'd demand to come in for a sono... even with clots, it could still be ok!

ITA!!!!! Many prayers it's just normal bleeding.

I agree!! Your doctor should be monitoring the levels of HCG in your blood, not assuming you are passing a miscarriage. I am so sorry this is happening to you, but until you know for sure it's a miscarriage try not to lose hope. When I miscarried I held on to false hope until my beta #'s started to drop then I knew it was over. I hope this is not the case for you and this is just "normal" bleeding!!

I went for a sono on April 16th and I thought I was 7 1/2 weeks pregnant but my doctor said I was measuring a week behind. He said he saw the heartbeat but we couldn't hear it because it was too early. I went back on Monday (this past monday) and he said he didn't see anything. He sent me to Radiology and did an internal and external and on the external one that sac was empty but the internal showed a yolk sac!!! How did he see a heartbeat and now a yolk sac... doesn't the yolk sac come first? My doctor is shocked that they saw that, but he said it might have stopped growing. He told me to go back on Tuesday to get another sono but in the meanwhile I will probably miscarry. I had some clots today also.........

Perhaps your dates are off? I went in when I was VERY early along in this pregnancy and they saw nothing....ask them to draw your blood and compare the hcg levels, that's the best way to know for sure that it's not just a sizing issue versus your dates. I am so sorry you are deailng with this!!

That is what he thought, but i am just so confused. But he told me that he wants me to pass this so i guess he doesn't think anything good is coming out of this.......

Whatever is meant to be will happen. My co-worker's daughter had bleedign early on and her Dr was wanted to schedule a D&C, but she held off - it was not a m/c and she carried/delivered a healthy baby.

Best is the HSG level - determined by a bloodtest. This # should double every 24-48 hrs.

First off, I am so so so soooo sorry you are going through this. So painful...
To answer your question though, IF the baby passed away, the body can actually start to reabsorb into your uterine lining and that may be why only the yolk sac was showing on a later scan. I really and truly do hope that this is not the case for you and that it is just a scare. You are in my thoughts.
