Italian flavored ground turkey?
I just saw Shadybrook Farms now has italian flavored ground turkey. Has anyone used this? Does it taste ok? I would be making meatballs with it.
Thanks!

Hmm, I would be weary of "flavored" ground meat. I think the best part of meat balls if the flavirings people add to them to make them their own.

me too. If you want to make meatballs add garlic, basil and some parmesan(good parm not Kraft!-I use Locatelli)

Re: Italian flavored ground turkey?
I sent my DH to the store one evening and he brought this home (I wanted the normal ground turkey ). I ended up using it in tomato sauce I made. It was fine. I think it just tastes a bit of oregano and some other spices.
