Its official.....
i changed my name Friday at SS and DMV 
after 126 days of marriage i finally did it 
thank you LIF for sending me the name change kit - once i got that in the mail there was no way i could continue procrastinating - i had no excuses left
DH was VERY excited - i am MRS. MULLIGAN now hahaha

haha YAH congrats Nik.
I did the same once I got the name change kit in the mail. Well I already had my SS card changed.
But DH took me to the DMV and we changed my name and my registration on my car. Then went to my car insurance company & changed my name on that. Then paid off my car loan so I did not have to change that.
Then we finally closed our checking/saving account that we had for the wedding & opened a joint account in my new name
Now I just need my passport and my payroll info at work to be changed. Oh & my student loans but that I need to look into.

Awww congrats Nik. You did it pretty quickly, the only thing I have changed my name is on my bank card and passport I am taking off Thurs and Fri so I have no excuse to go to SS and DMV this week.
