Last week at my 8 week appt at dr b's the baby's heartbeat was 146 and he said things were perfect. Toiday at my 9 week, there was no heartbeat. He sent me to dr pilitierri to schedule d and c. Dr p confirmed baby died and it must have died tje day I saw dr b or the very next day due to the stoppage of growth. Don't know if procedure will be wed or fri yet. I am beyond. I am numb. I am devastated. I am a crazy worrier and what I feared most has happened. I have no vacation or sick days at my job and I work thurs-sunday. What do I do?? Everyone at work knows about the pg and also There are two girls who are preg and its a small business and I can't hide away andkeep to myself. I am just so lost. I feel sick to dissapoint dh. If anyone jhas thoughts or suggestions please let me know. Thank you

i am so so sorry
as for work, i would tell them you have a personal/family emergency and need the time off. maybe first speak to someone you are close with or the HR person. i would wait to tell others what happened until you are ready.

I am devastated for you! I have followed you on the boards for awhile and really thought this was it.
I am sending you so many hugs and prayers.
People knew at my job too when I was 8 weeks pregnant last year and then I miscarried and it was hard to face them again. I just said unfortunatly I miscarried and am hoping everyone can respect my privacy. And they did.
Please hang in there. I know nothing can help, but after my own 2 year struggle with infertility and a miscarriage, I believe that God has a plan to bring us to our babies. Never lose hope.

I am so sorry. I was in the same situation at my old job and they let me take a week unpaid. I was 7.5 wks and had told the majority of coworkera. My prayers are with you and dh.

Oh Prunepie.......Im so, so sorry! I can understand how numb you are.
The feeling of your heart dropping from bad news is just the worst and Im so sorry you had to go thru this.
If its any re-assurance; which it may not be, Dr. P did my D&C and just made the whole thing a tad bit easier as hes a very sincere guy to talk to.
So many hugs and prayers for you!!
