IUI & suppository question
If you are put on Clomid and get the HSG shot does everyone get the suppository also before the IUI? A friend who is going thru this also tells me that it promotes pregnancy and I have never heard of this before. Ive had 2 and no one even mentioned it.
Does everyone get this? I feel like I have to do research before my next appt.

Where I go, for IUIs, if you have been put on it once, you will always be put on it. Sometimes they dont put you on it until the mid-2ww if your progesterone comes up low.
If you do IVF, my doc makes everyone do it.

When I did my IUI's I was only put on suppositories if my progesterone levels came up low. I could be wrong but I dont think it "promotes" pregnancy as much as it helps the pregnancy stick once you conceive. Hope that makes sense. Good luck!!!

I was only given suppositories after my progesterone levels turned out to be low after my iui.

So when did they do BW to see what your levels were? after the IUI? I havent had BW since the first CD3. Im feeling like I am out of the loop here on this whole process.

I always did bloodwork when I went in to monitoring (usually around CD 10). After IUI, they will do bloodwork to check progesterone.

THis is my 2nd IUI and i havent had any bw. Im starting to worry that i am not getting what I am supposed to. This is stressing me more than the 2ww. I wonder what else I may be missing.
What else should I be asking? or having with my IUI?
