Our next step-Clomid/IUI
All of our tesgting came back good. At thsi point, the dr. says it's unexplained IF. The 2 possible things are my tight cervix and DH had a little less than average normally shaped sperm. I am going for my first round of Clomid and insemination this month. I am excited and feeling more hopeful than I have been lately. Should I expect any side effects from the Clomid and is the IUI painful? TIA!!

The IUI doesn't hurt, tiny bit of a pinch when they insert the catheter thingy into your cervix, but you'll be fine, you might get a little cramping afterwards, but no worse than AF in my experience - good luck

I had one IUI in one cycle and two in the other. They did not hurt me at all. The speculum was cold though.

IUI is just like a pap exam, but usually even quicker!
I did have some bloating and some moody-ness  from the Clomid.

I've had no major side effects from Clomid. A few times I felt hot at night and maybe slightly dizzy, but not enough that it bothered me at all.
As for the IUI procedure, it doesn't hurt. You might just feel some cramping.

The IUI doesn't hurt but I have a tight cervix so the speculum is usually very uncomfortable!!!!!
