IUI #5 = Fail
Well just got AF so IUI #5 was a bust  onto IUI #6...DH was hopeful and was a bit sad that it didnt work but what can you do...all we can do is keep trying...going for a cycle check this afternoon and hopefully I dont have a cyst so that I can start on CD 3.

I'm sorry. 
I seem to remember you saying you were using femara. Have you ever tried injectables with an IUI? How many follies do you get with femara?

Yes I have been taking femara and have developed 1-3 follicles each time...I dont have an issue with follicles...my RE is concerned that with injectables I will overstimulate if I can develop more than 2 follicles on femara...I have PCOS...

Understood. I am only able to make 1 egg on Clomid, so that's why I asked if you tried something else.
Good luck with IVF, if you decide to take that route. It does give you the best odds.

Oh yea if I wasnt developing as many follicles I prob would have moved on to injectables...I really hope we dont need to go to IVF so I hope that IUI #6 is the lucky one

I am just grateful that we have an IF coverage and we will keep trying until we get our baby!!!
DH is too funny...he said that the reason we are not getting pregnant is from all the yrs of training his sperm to avoid my eggs so we wouldnt get pregnan just like pavlov's dog...all I could do was just laugh

I have PCOS and clomid didn't work for me. I did an injectable cycle a few years ago and that didn't work my combo that worked was follistim (75mg), lowest dose. My RE started low and slow to see how I would respond I responded well with 2 follies and the IUI worked the first time, maybe they could try you on injections just take it really slow so you don't hyper stimulate

I have responded to clomid & femara so that isnt the problem...I think maybe its just the timing of it all...IUI's only give you 10-20% shot.

I am so sorry it didn't work out for you. In reading your other posts, I am happy to hear that you have an IVF game plan, just in case. Fingers crossed that #6 is it for you.
