well, IUI #4=FAIL
dr. b just called to let me know what i already knew. IUI #4 is a BFN. i'm just stunned that it's gone this far. we'll move on to IVF in a couple of months but for right now i need to dwell a little bit in my sadness and then have a life that doesn't include fertility treatments. i am so so so sad. i thought going through losses was bad, but not being able to get pregnant for the last year is a whole other degree of sadness and frustration.

I'm so so sorry. I have had 5 failed IUI's; took August and September off and I am really ready to get back in the swing of things. A break really helps....good luck!

Losses are bad.. BFNs are bad... it's just a different type of grief One thing I will say, like I probably said on here many times before, is that IVF is scary at first but totally manageable! IVF will also bring up your chances more than an IUI. Try to take this time to do some relaxing things because once IVF starts, the obsessing... noticing every twinge.. .etc... sets in full gear!!

I am sorry this iui didn't work. Sometime to collect yourself is a good idea. IVF is initimidating at first, but moves quickly. Good luck.

Take the time to grieve and take care of yourself.

I'm sorry. Try to enjoy your break. I know that for us, it was the best thing we could have done before IVF. In all honesty though, IVF hasn't ben as bad as I thought it would be. Hang in there.

thanks girls AF came today so we are now officially on "break". i just booked a trip to FL to see my godson at the end of the month so i'm looking forward to that!

Awww, I'm so sorry. I know that feeling all too well. I still haven't gotten a BFP and it's been 15 going on 16 months now. The break will do you wonders. We took off for 2 months and it's so great to not have to think about it. Now when I start my meds for IVF in a couple of weeks (pending AF's arrival), I'll be in a much better place and I'm sure you will too .
