IUI Success Stories?
IUI #1 was a bust. We are doing another IUI this month. DH's sperm count last month was at 7 million. Hopefully it has increased since then. I have two follies this month. Hoping this is my month. So my question is-on average, how many months on average before a successful IUI? I am hoping that some success stories will cheer me up and keep me positive. We do not have IVF coverage (except our meds would be covered) and we are hoping that we do not have to go the IVF route. TIA!

My 2nd IUI cycle worked.
The first DH's sperm count was low (less than 5 million) and they wanted me to come back in the next day for another but my work schedule wouldn't allow it. I honestly feel with that cycle that I ovulated too early for the IUI to work...so the 2nd iui would have probably been a waste.
The 2nd IUI cycle was my first on a combo of femara and follistim (injectible meds). It was the first cycle that I ovulated in a "normal" time frame as opposed to ovulating at day 45 or 60. I had two follicles one on each side. DH and I  the day I got home from my monitoring appointment and then had an iui 24 and 48 hrs after trigger. His count was low the first day and over 7 million the second day. These IUIs were much better timed because I felt like I ovulated about 36-38 hrs after trigger. I'm currently 8 months pregnant.
Don't give up hope it can happen!!

Our first time around we had  from our first IUI. DH sperm count was somewhere between 6 and 7 million.
ETA: I was showing 4 eggs and was on 100 mg clomid

IUI Success Stories?
Currently almost 4 months along with a clomid/iui baby. This was our 2nd cycle after a miscarriage.
Good luck to you! Don't lose hope! Now that I am "out" I am not any about telling people how I got pregnant and I can't tell you how many people have opened up to me about their stories, it is more common than I though to have to go the iui route.

I'm currently 26 weeks with  after our 2nd IUI. Clomid + Bravelle
I had 2 follies, but neither of them were big enough and I wound up ovulating on my own. Dr. was shocked when it showed up as twins!

I personally have no experience with IUI but I had lunch with a friend yesterday that did IUI and she explained the whole thing to me and it took her two cycles...

I got pregnant with DS from my 2nd IUI. I had 4 follies, I believe. One was mature, one sort of over-mature, and the other two not yet mature.

My DS just turned 6 days old today and is the result of an IUI. We were fortunate to get pregnant on the first try and DH's count was 2 million the first day and 10 million the next day (we did them back to back). It's hard, but keep your faith!
