IUI UPDATE
I know my Dr. will explain everything to me..I think that this weekend or early next week I will be ready for my IUI. When they tell me to give myself the Ovidrel, how many days later does the actual IUI take place? Can any of you ladies let me know what to expect? Does it hurt? Do I go home and right to bed? thanks GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES TO ALL OF US UPDATE!
I got the call last night I have to take my Ovidrel tonight..then Monday for the IUI! Please keep me in your thoughts. I miscarried after 3 months back in December (but that was a natural pregnancy) I just hope everything goes as planned! Praying for all us!THANKS

Re: IUI ?
Usually 36 hours I think. No it doesn't hurt, you might get a little cramping & spotting. I think every Dr differs with instructions afterwards. I just took it easy that day, no base jumping, weightlifting etc. Other than that I think you will be fine to carry on as normal, but they will tell you what not to do. Good luck to you, lets hope you get your BFP!

Re: IUI ?
good luck!
I was told 36 hours by everyone on here. I just did this the other day.
It didn't hurt one bit. Just like a pap!

Re: IUI ?
They used to tell me I could go back to work. I would usually take it easy the day of transfer and back to normal the next day.

Re: IUI ?
I had my first one last month (didn't take), but I'll also be going earlier this coming week for #2.
It didn't hurt, and I chose to take it easy, but I was told that I could go back to work (which is what I will do this time) I cramped for the first minute or two after the actual procedure, but that was really it.
