I've declared myself evil LOL!!!

A woman I used to be very friendly with was fired today!!!

Her and I were friends for a long time in the office but she started to be very negative and was spreading her negativity. I was not going to let her bring me down so I slowly distanced myself from her and would keep our conversations to business.

She was moved into my department and hated that she was to report to me. It was fine when she was the admin and she felt like the almighty wizard of Oz but when she was moved to my department she felt like it was beneath her to be in the department and made everyone's life for the past 2 weeks completely miserable. I had 2 people beg me to move their seats or make their cubicals walls higher because they did not want to deal with her.

So today at exactly 9:10am she was escorted out of the building.

WAHOO!!!! I know it's so bad to be happy about one's pain but this woman was a disease and it would have spread and ripped my department apart. This has now made us a lot stronger and be there for each other professionally.

It sux how one person can ruin the whole work atmosphere.
My asst. walked out about a month ago. I told my supervisor, let her go, I would be much better off. Tons of bricks were lifted off my shoulders when she left. I was SO happy!
My new asst. is great and someone who wants to be there!
