Do people really like it?

Where do you get the meat?

How much would I need to serve 8?

How much does something like that cost?

And how does one cook it?

I just saw a delicious recipe for it in the latest O Magazine. I am thinking of trying this instead of ham for our Christmas dinner.

Delicious, but really expensive. My mom buys it for Christmas each year, it's over $50 for the meat.

I do a prime rib for Christmas, I probably spend about $35 on the meat. It makes great sandwiches on Boxing Day!

My husband likes it really plain so I just put salt and pepper on it, cook it on a bed of onions (to make the gravy) add some carrots, celery etc... Its always delish. I use a meat thermometer to make sure its cooked the way I want it.

Depending on how voracious their appetites are a good rule is one rib per two people, so if you were serving 8, look for a prime rib roast with 4 - 5 ribs in it.. HTH
