IVF - Update Thread Feb/Mar

Hi Girls...

I thought I would start an update thread for us 2008 IVF girls...

Lets see I had my trial of transfer last week and it went perfect (no pain at all.. better than an IUI for me)... I am ovulating in the next day or so and will start my Lupron next week. My meds should be delivered to my door tonight. We are starting to get very excited

What is everyone else up to in the process...

I didn't start the IVF process yet. I am on my 2nd week of BCP. good luck to everyone!

I'm on BCP now, but we're taking a break and I start my Lupron on 2/19. I will start with the stims on 3/1 with retrieval on or about 3/12

I started Lupron last Friday. So far so good. I feel the needle on the right side but not at all on my left. Weird, eh? I stop bcp this Thursday.

This is my first IVF cycle.

I'm on my last cycle of clomid/IUI. If that doesn't work we are starting IVF at the end of the month with Lupron.

When does this get easier?

I am just beginning to enter my 1st (and hopefully only ) IVF cycle....Started Provera today and will be going in on day 3 to start BCP....

Waiting for AF and then BCP's

Had Injection teaching tonight and have to get a ton of blood work done.

Will schedule water sono once AF arrives.

Estimated stim start date is Feb 6.

I got all my medications delivered to my door last night.. OMG what did we get ourselves into

I am feeling a little bit overwhelmed but I am sure once we get our instructions from the nurse we will be fine.

I am ovulating today and tomorrow and will start Lupron next week.

I was supposed to have my IVF consult this week but it was rescheduled til next week. I am getting sooo impatient already!!! Then I was told my Dr. is going on vacation. I hope that doesn't mean I will have to wait to start the process.

This is my first time doing IVF. I started taking Brevelle and Menopur on Thursday. I have a blood test tomorrow and a sono in the office. They are projecting retrieval for the week of the 21st. I am nervous, scared and trying to keep positive. This is all very overwhelming!

Bumping for some updates on everyone..

I am still waiting for my Lupron period.. looks like I won't be starting stims until next week. I would have liked to have started this week but from what I heard the minute you start stimming everything goes really fast..

I am having no side effects from the Lupron.. and the shot is pretty easy.

So what is up with everyone :)

finished BCP sunday, went to the Dr. this morning for blood and sono. I am hoping to start stimming tonight. I was scheduled to start tonight, and my lining looks good, but I did have one follie on my left ovary that was a little bigger than they had thought. but as long as my estrodiol level is low i get to start!

Tonight will be my fifth nite on Follistim. RE saw 'quite a few mature follicles already' on my right side. He didnt say how big or how many but he did say he is concerned with hyperstimulation since I have PCOS. I go back tomorrow and then again on weekend and he said I should have my ER early next week.

I'm feeling quite emotional and very uncomfy already (bloated and swollen). I've gained 2 lbs since yesterday and a total of 12 since starting this process! I just keep repeating to myself that it will all be worth it if I get my baby!

Right now I'm just waiting for AF. Once she comes, I'll go in for my day 3 sono and begin Follistim. I'll continue being monitored until my follies look good and then I'll inject Ovidrel. Hopefully our 1st IUI will take.

I haven't posted in a while. But, in Nov/Dec I did my first IVF cycled. It was a failed cycle. They retrieved 20 eggs, 16 fertilized (1/2 ICSI and 1/2 not with Assisted Hatching) 13 made it to 3 days. They had transferred 3 and froze 10. At the end of the month, I am doing a FET and transferring 3. That's it in a nutshell.

ETA: I recently had a laparoscopy to get rid of my adhesions from my myomectomy last year and I also had adhesions around one of my tubes. They cut the tube at the uterus.

Ended Provera 4 days ago, got my AF yesterday and am going in for CD3 on Thursday. From there will be on BCP for 7-10 days .....

I am starting my stims tonight.

I will be taking 5 units of lupron.
2 viles of repronex
150 of follistim

I report back to the office on Sunday for blood work and sono.

Starting stims on 2/11...just got my big bag of drugs. Have my IVF consult on 2/6 and have no idea what I'm doing with them all until then!

I am getting my meds today. I go back Feb. 8th to get blood and sono and see if I can start my Lupron. This is my 4th IVF cycle and I hope my last.
