IVF 2ww question...
when not doing IVF by 14dpo you should know if you're pg, right? I know some of you are going to say I'm not out until the beta but...
Wouldn't a PG test show positive by now for IVF? I'm so confused. Today is 13dpo (10dp3dt) and still BFN... is it safe to say I'm out by this point or could something actually change between now and the beta?  TIA!

i took several HPT after IVF and every one came back BFN but when I went to get my beta I was pleasantly suprised that I was pg and I had no symptoms at all NO MS at all so I was really bummed before the beta so hang in there they should be testing soon right??? g/l hope to see you here soon

Thanks.  I am just feeling so defeated today, which is so unlike me. DH is (finally!) taking me out to lunch- I've been hounding him to go out since breakfast time...
I just broke down in front of him- he hugged me and then told me that I must've been the kid who tried to open my presents before Christmas.   I couldn't help but laugh- why is this so frustrating!!?!?!??

This is why I never could bring myself to test before beta day. I drove myself crazy enough as it was!
When is your beta? It should be close right?

13 dpo would be what - 10dp3dt...I did not get a positive on a home test that early. I tested for the first time that day and tried to convince myself that I saw a faint line, but there was nothing. 3 days later, day of beta was the first time I had a real line on a HPT.
And I was pg with twins at the time, so you'd think my HCG would have been high enough to show.
Try to hang in there until the beta - you are soooo close.

It doesn't mean you are out at all! I've said this before, and I'll say it again - when I was PG with my DD, I didn't get a BFP until I was 15dpo (and trust me, I tested everyday, and then some, from 10po until that point!)

Thanks everyone. My beta is on Friday-- they have me waiting a whole 2 weeks from the day of transfer.
We just got back from lunch and a trip to target. During lunch DH and I talked and he managed to get me in better spirits. As we were walking into Target we ran into my SIL's cousin who had her beautiful little girl w/ her and was clearly pg w/ #2. I remember when we saw her last- she was asking us when we were going to have kids- and then after she left my SIL told me that they shared w/ her that she was pregnant w/ her first... and now here she is on #2. At least she knew better than to ask me this time! We made small talk and then we went into Target and she headed to her car.
What were the first words out of my DH's mouth you ask??? "Hey, she's pregnant w/ her 2nd already". "Yeah, thanks for pointing that out to me" was my reply  I don't know what he's thinking sometimes---- it took him like 3 hours to cheer me up and then says that... lol. Men- gotta love 'em.

I'm in the same boat as you  My beta is Thursday. I'm dying to POAS but I won't do it. I have ZERO symptoms except for slight cramping. Very slight.

I hope that you just have a late implanter but I will say this...
With my first IVF I totally knew I wasnt pregnant and I kept testing BFN's up until the beta..... It actually helped me because the news wasnt as "shocking" to me cause Id been testing ALL week with BFNs already.
Even if it is a negative... please dont lose all hope. I got pregnant on my first FET transfer and I couldnt imagine HOW since everything was PERFECT the first time and this was frozen embies, poorer quality etc etc etc. and it worked!

Thanks Jenn. That's kind of my reasoning also- I'd rather be prepared... so it's not quite as shocking to hear.
I just don't get it... I wish things could be easier for all of us. I have no clue what other embryos we have frozen- I know the # but nothing about them. Ugh!!!

Shannon, the only day I POAS is my actual beta day. This way I don't have to wait all day to find out if its positive or negative. Just try to wait until then and only use FRER.
