Re: IVF CLASS

I go to Dr. B and there is no IVF class, so I'm no help! I'm sure hearing everything in one condensed class must be very overwhelming. All my information was stretched out, so it didn't seem too bad.

Tons of luck with the cycle!

I remember going the first time around and leaving there with my head spinning as well ...But I have to say, once you start to really get going with the actual cycle itself so much of that information you retained ( and may not think you did) comes back to you and everything makes more sense Chat Icon

Re: IVF CLASS

Never been so no help. But I did go to a PCOS seminar and felt overwhelmed and scared, but it did help. I have always liked the hands-on approach, even in school. I hated lectures but loved labs and projects. Like PP it is overwhelming now but once you go through it it is worth it. GL! Chat Icon

Re: IVF CLASS

I was with Dr Braverman previously were there was no IVF class. Then I moved on to Cornell were there was a 3 hour class! I found it to be very informative but definitely condensed. I had an IVF cycle before and I wasn't that overwhelmed with the technical information (like timing, the meds, how to do the injections etc). But all the administrative stuff concerning who to contact for specific issues, the hours and days for each thing, the amount of testing that needed to be scheduled for before the IVF starts....that stuff was reaaally overwhelming for me! It's good that they gave us a printout of the IVF class presentation because I would have really been lost right now....Chat Icon
