Went to our IVF orientation class last week
WOW  I am really overwhelmed with all of the injections, the timing and the precision....
Any helpful tips?

I felt the same way as you when I went earlier in the month! I am just starting my cycle and it does get easier. They give you a detailed calendar and really walk you through it. Seems I am a little ahead of you, so feel free to ask questions - I'd be more than happy to help! GL!

I felt the exact same way. I left there in tears b/c I was so overwhelmed. It def. gets easier. I am having my ER this week and I can not believe how time has flown by and how much easier it was than I thought. It will all work out. GL

It is def overwhelming at first. But, once you get into it and they guide you the whole way you'll find its very easy. And like PP said, it flies by. As with anything, it becomes routine by the 4th day of stimming.

You literally have to take one day at a time and it will all fall into place. Looking at the big picture while doing IVF is overwhelming.

I was just going to say the same thing. Seriously, the injections are not that bad
My tip for you - choose a time for the injections close to your bedtime, so your whole life is not around the injection time

I was completely overwhelmed at just the thought of IVF. I've found by just focusing on remembering to take my BCP pills every day and not focusing on what other meds I'll be taking yet has really helped me stay focused.
I asked what the other meds on my calendar are, for the sake of my own curiousity, but am trying not to research anything or give them any further thought until the time comes... when I find myself getting worked up about it I go out for a walk or talk w/ DH and have found that to help a lot also...

Like everyone else said.. one day at a time. Once you start your stims it goes pretty fast. To me, the worst part is the 2WW!
