Hey when you start going to the OB, you don't have to have 5am appts anymore! OB day was great cuz I would get to see.....Dr B ... I mean my little Baby P!! Really, that's what made it exciting!  COnsider I work from home and the only time I would wear "real" clothes was for Dr visits, lol..

I have to ask.....did writing a journal helped with passing time? I haven't been online for 2 days and when I read about your trigger, I couldn't believe how fast time has past!

Somewhat but I guess I'm on kind of a strange protocol. I was never suppressed...so I started meds on Day 3 of my cycle. I am on Day 10 of meds today but day 13 of my cycle...I know others start BCP or Lupron(I think) before they start stims which I didn't.

Fingers, toes, I even crossed Reese and Syd fingers for a second and said lets all do a baby dance for Aunt Melissa..and danced around around living room..The McLoughlins are all rooting for you.

Good luck with your retrieval!!! It's a light sedation so no breathing tube. I felt find after the 1st time. I was a little more out of it after the 2nd time but not too bad. It all goes so quickly. The worst part for me is the IV. I hate those things. You would think, after all the poking and proding, it wouldn't bother me.

Thank you! They sometimes have problems with IV's with me. Funny story when we went to Stonybrook for the surgery I mentioned, the nurse couldn't get the needle in and my DH started insisting we get someone else. My Dr at the time was in the room and he said, let me try. So he's fiddling around. I have my head turned talking to my DH. Dr says OK got it and I feel wetness on my arm. I turn and see blood spurting out out my arm. TONS of it. I was like

You'll do great tomorrow - no throat tube. Just an intravenous line on your right hand. I wasn't nervous about the retrieval - I was nervous about being put under - and it was a breeze!

Same here! I had never had any type of surgery before, and the being put out was the most terrifying to me, but after 7 straight days of 6:00 am doctors appointments, it was the best sleep I'd had in weeks! The retrieval was a breeze, I was just dopey the rest of the day and part of the next day from the drugs. Just remember to drink ALOT after your retrieval, it will help keep the bloat away.

That sounds good. I haven't had a good nights sleep since I started this! My acupuncturist keeps asking me are you sleeping at night?( i guess they can tell by your pulse or something)I will definitely update when I get home

Good luck tomorrow. What time are you scheduled for ER? Everyone is really nice on that floor. It will go fast. Before you know it the room is spinning and then you'll wake up with it all over. I was groggy the rest of the day, but I felt fine when I walked out of there. Just keep focused on the goal.
