IVF question
Hi! So after all my testing it looks like I will be doing IVF. I have some questions and maybe someone can help... I have severe endo but my tubes are open and my uterus is clear just tilted. My egg count is on the lower side for my age. I wonder why it doesnt happen naturally if everything looks good how will it happen thru ivf...trying to be positive but just feel so blah

Re: IVF question
could be 1000 reasons.
I did one IUI with clomid in 09 and it worked first try after trying for a year with no luck.
now I've done 3 IUI's (2 with clomid and HCG) and they've done nothing. My uterus is tilted way back and puts my cervix in a weird position so I think that is affecting it. but the IUI's should bypass all that and still didnt work. So Im confused too lol.
Your severe endo could definitely be playing a role though with scar tissue forming somewhere. my mom suffered with it for years. Its awful.

The endo has literally taken over my life. I cant commit to plans bc I dont know if I will have a flare up, esp around the time my period is coming. I had surgery in Oct and still feel bad on a lot of days. The endo was all over my organs (bladder, kidney tube, appendix, colon...) but suprisingly my ovaries and uterus are ok. They were able to drain my grapefruit size cyst. what a mess. I am petrified of IVF but it looks like its the only way (if it works) good luck to you thank you for answering

IVF question
i have mild endo and it is on my ovary so it has cause egg quality issues.
but the reasons for as to why it doesn't happen naturally.....my dr told me that I do have a chance of it happening naturally (it did with my son) but it almost has to be a perfect storm. A good egg has to be actually released and go on through the regular process and the chances for me of that happening is super low so it would takes years if ever for that perfect storm.
We are doing IVF with PGD and ICSI to increase our chances as much as possible.
I'm "old" so I don't have time to wait for nature to do its thing.

IVF question
I had same issue. I had to do 5 FRESH IVF & finally got twins last time. I never had any frozen. I had insurance though. We only paid for last cycle. I wish you lots of luck.
