IVF question for those at LIIVF
If you are scheduled to start IVF on the 1st of a month, when do you need to get your period by? They told me if I needed to get my period within the next day(s) otherwise I would be postponed until April 1st.

Re: IVF question for those at LIIVF
It's not by the month, it's approx. every 45 days or so... They work on what are Gov't. series based on CDC guidelines...So, Series 108 might be from February 15th - March 31, then Series 109 would be April 1 - May 15. It has something to do with how they report their statistics and all the clinics do it. It's basically a way of monitoring their retrievals and transfers. So, it's not always the first of a month...they will tell you that you have to get AF by a certain date and that will put you in on the next series, but if you don't you would have to go into the following series. I hope that kind of makes sense.

Thanks! So does that mean that if I missed one series that I have to wait 45 days to begin the next?

Re: IVF question for those at LIIVF
Hi. I had my first IVF down at LI IVF at the beginning of August, it was unsuccessful.
Then I started my monitoring, meds for my second IVF at the end of Sept. beginning of Oct.
Had my ER 10/28 and my ET 10/31. I am now 21 weeks pg. Good luck!
